About Us

Little Nomads Stock Photo is an online collection of travel photography representing a collaborative effort to compile quality images from around the world and make them available for purchase in a fast, simple, and affordable environment.

Started with the idea of serving the entertainment industry's need for cleared artwork, Little Nomads Stock Photo is dedicated to the sale of royalty-free digital images through immediate download. As a part of film and TV production herself, site administrator Marjorie Eber has experienced first hand the need to find affordable cleared artwork quickly, often times using her own images for the project's graphics and artwork needs. Thus the idea was born to showcase her images and make them available to a wider market.

Growing from this initial concept, Little Nomads now aims to serve its market beyond the entertainment industry as well. To do so, our galleries will include the works of a range of travel photographers, providing an even greater selection to our clients.

At a time when digital photography has flooded the market with stock photography options, we hope our focus on international travel related images representing a range of artistic styles, along with our ability to work with our customers' needs, will provide a unique and effective option for purchasing stock images, whether for the entertainment industry or beyond.

All of our photographers have a passion for travel and a desire to capture and share their experiences through the art of photography. Currently among our collection are works from the following photographers:

About Our Pricing and Products

Pricing and Licensing

Our choice to make our images royalty-free reflects the desire to have a simplified approach to the legal restrictions placed on image use, and the resulting straightforward pricing based on image size (see below). This allows for the immediate download of images, for all those times when a photo is needed right away. However, if specific needs regarding rights-managed licensing, file size, file type, or price are required, we are flexible and able to work with our customers - just contact the site administrator. To view the cost of a royalty-free image, select the 'purchase options' link below the thumbnail or full sized image.

Image Size

The file sizes and resolutions of images found on Little Nomads range from Small (12 MB, 2048x1536 RGB pixels) to Large (26 MB, 3888x2592 RGB pixels). This information is listed under each image in the full size view. Please be sure to confirm the image file size before you complete your purchase to ensure it will meet your requirements for your desired end use.

Little Nomads recognizes that depending on the desired end use of an image, different file sizes and resolutions are acceptable. For example, an image captured with a 3 megapixel camera will not provide as high a quality print at 8 x 10 or larger as an image captured with a 6 megapixel camera; however, if the desired use is for digital media, or does not require exceptional printing quality, the lower resolution image is still an excellent option. For that reason, we accept a range of resolutions from our contributors and do not require a minimum file size, as long as it meets our quality standards.

Prints and Framed Photos

Standard prints are available for purchase directly through this site, listed under each image's 'purchase options'. If you are interested in enlargements (over 8x10), or framed fine art prints, please contact the site administrator and we'll be happy to create a custom product for you. Also, please be aware of the different file sizes available on our website as detailed above, and what that means for print orders. For best results, consult the file and print size guidelines here.
